DACROMET is an inorganic coating composed of zinc and aluminium flakes in a binding matrix of chrome oxides. The corrosion resistance performance is particularly high at low thicknesses (from 5 to 10mu). Xylan coating is a fluoropolymer applied over a cleaned and phosphate coated substrate, such as used on studs in the offshore platform piping business and in extreme weather environments.
